Updated Google Chrome Browser Released with Improved Spell Checker

It’s the little things that make the biggest differences, isn’t it? Google announced the latest release of its Chrome browser, and the premiere new feature is spell check. (Google, cleaning up typos on the Web one person at a time.)

The new spell checking feature is actually powered by the same stuff underpinning Google Search and includes an “Ask Google for suggestions” option. It also supports checks for grammar, proper nouns, homonyms, and context-sensitive spellings. Users that add words to their custom dictionaries can now sync them across all of their Chrome-packing devices.

Google has also added dictionary support for Korean, Tamil, and Albanian speakers. (Er, typers.) This version of Chrome is available now for Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS, with support for Macs coming soon.
