This company has a long history of capitalizing names and removing vowels wherever they feel like it, but we have to admit, their newest device is perfectly named. The Motorola Wilder is quite the unique handset. In the world of giant smart phones with wild dual core processors and lofty price tags, this device takes a very different turn. It is very clearly designed for a very specific audience, an audience that isn't afraid to take their phone outdoors and even splash around with it.
The phone boasts a 2.8 inch touchscreen, social networking integration, and FM radio tuner, and a few bundled games including the Need for Speed. There's also a 2 megapixel video camera, as well as a dual band GSM radio, MP3 player, a memory card slot, Bluetooth, headphone jack, and a shell that is both splash and dust resistant. It will be available from September for around $100 off-contract, which is dirt cheap. No Android or anything here, but for a beater phone, you could do worse.
