LG’s First LTE Tablet Launches--in Korea
LG introduced its first LTE-enabled tablet, the Optimus Pad LTE, with an initial launch limited to Korea. (Presumably, the rest of the world will get its hands on the device soon, too.)
The Optimus Pad LTE has a dual-core/dual-channel 1.5GHz Qualcomm chip and runs Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). Other features include expandability of up to 32GB of microSD memory, an 8.9-inch IPS True HD Display with 1280x720 resolution, 8MP/2MP rear/front cameras, and HDMI and DLNA.
LG is positioning the Optimus Pad LTE as something that users would view as their “primary consumption device when on the move”--in other words, a device people would use more than their smartphone.

Initially launching in Korea, LG has equipped the tablet with both LTE technology and True HD IPS display, the two features that have helped LG differentiate its latest smartphone, Optimus LTE, from the competition.
