Kingston Introduces 32GB microSDHC Memory Card

MicroSDHC cards are tiny. No one needed to tell you that. They're mostly used in cellphones, but recently they have been both sluggish and hard to find. SanDisk has a Class 2 32GB microSDHC, but it's one of the slower options out there. Now, Kingston is offering an alternative. 32GB is still the maximum on the market for microSDHC, but the big advantage to this new card is the Class 4 speed rating. That means that it can provide a 4MB/sec. minimum data transfer rate, which should make your Android phone feel quite a bit faster if accessing material frequently on the card.

It's expected to start shipping tomorrow, and it'll be capable of storing nearly 29,000 photos, over 6,000 songs and more than 2,000 minutes of video. Kingston has tested it with success on the HTC EVO 4G, Shadow, DROID X, Bold 9000 and Galaxy S. The card will sell for $153, or with an SD adapter for $155.
