Network Solutions isn't really a household consumer name, but that's
because their gear isn't toned down in the least. The company's newest
device is described as their fastest and most powerful wireless router
yet, with the Wireless 450N dual-band Gigabit router promising to handle
"even the most bandwidth-intense home or business networks." It's
specifically built to handle a crazy amount of traffic, including IP
voice, HD video and real-time audio/video streaming to any type of Wi-Fi
enabled device at 450Mbps.
The highlight feature is the 3T3R antenna design and Wireless-N functionality, not to mention simultaneous dual-band transceivers -- which allow the user to load manage traffic between the 2.4 GHz band (used by portable handsets, Bluetooth devices and other devices) and the uncluttered 5 GHz band for lightning fast exchanges of mission-critical data. The router ships with a three-year warranty, but no pricing information is readily available.
