iBuyPower Builds Three New Systems Around AMD's New Radeon Graphics Cards

It didn't take boutique system iBuyPower long to pounce on AMD's recently released Radeon HD 6450, HD 6570, and HD 6670 graphics cards (see our evaluation of the latter two here) . These are entry-level graphics cards intended for OEMs, and iBuyPower is putting them to good use by building a trio of affordable gaming rigs around them.

"We build systems for gamers of all levels and budgets," said Darren Su, Vice President of iBuyPower. "These new AMD Radeon graphics cards deliver the total package, providing a great balance of value and performance."

Gamer Mage D245 / Gamer Fire 580

For game players on a strict budget, iBuyPower is selling its Gamer Mage D245 starting at $499. The fist-full of Benjamins buys an NZXT Gamma gaming case, liquid cooled AMD Athlon II X2 260 dual-core processor, 4GB of DDR3-1600 memory, Radeon HD 6450 graphics card, Asus M4A87T motherboard, 500GB hard drive, 24X DVD burner, 12-in-1 media card reader, 450W PSU, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

2011 Mage

If you have a little more coin to spare, the 2011 Mage kicks things up a notch with a Radeon HD 6570 graphics card, 640GB hard drive, and Xion Echo gaming case for $559.

Finally, there's the higher end (yet still affordable) Gamer Fire 580 starting at $849. That investment upgrades you to a quad-core Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition processor, AMD Radeon 6670 graphics card, 1TB hard drive, and 700W power supply.

All three systems are available now.
