Have 15 Minutes To Spare? Here's An Extended Look At HTC's Unannounced M8 (One)

HTC is expected to unveil its new One (not to be confused with the current HTC One) smartphone during a press event in New York City tomorrow, which just might be one of the worst kept secrets on the web. That's because the One (codenamed M8) has been the subject of numerous rumors, speculations, and leaks, the newest of which is a 15-minute YouTube video with around 14 minutes of footage showing a gray colored version.

According to TechCrunch, other color options could include gold, silver, and black. The gray version shown in the video sports a brushed stainless finish that looks rather attractive for a phone. HTC appears to have gone the extra mile this time around by adding metal edges and then polishing them to a mirror finish. All in all, it has the look of another high quality device.

Based on previous rumors and leaks, the M8 will come with a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and a Duo Camera that combines photos taken from two cameras for better looking images.

Considering that Apple and Samsung rule the smartphone sector these days, HTC needs to hit this one out of the park. The good news for HTC is that its first One device was well received (see our review), and there seems to be a lot of interest in the M8.
