Adobe's Flash Seen Running On HP's Impending TouchPad

Guess what? HP's TouchPad seems to be darn good at Flash. Yes, Adobe's Flash. As in, the Flash that no iOS device is capable of handling, despite tons of public backlash. Apple's pretty much set on never supporting Flash, hoping to hold out until most web video is converted over to the more universally accepted HTML5. It's quite possible that HP plans on using this fact (the fact that the TouchPad can play Flash) to set itself apart from Apple's iPad. The TouchStone feature is also an impressive one, but it's one that will be harder to sell to the mainstream.

The TouchPad Flash demo was shown at a Qualcomm demo earlier in the week, where the 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor powered through tons of simultaneous apps. That kind of power will certainly churn through Flash video as well, but there's no need to just take our word for it. The video showing as much is embedded below.
