Zotac’s Zbox Pi320 Pico PC Is Freakin’ TINY, Packs Quad-Core Bay Trail Inside

Perhaps in another few generations, we'll have super powerful gaming PCs that measure about the size of a fingernail. In the meantime, the mini PC movement is in full force, and Zotac is leading the charge. The newest small form factor (SFF) PC from Zotac is the Zbox PI320 Pico, an ultra-tiny system about the size of a smartphone (it measures 115.5mm x 66mm x 19.2mm).

Despite its small size, the Zbox PI320 packs some impressive hardware and features. It sports an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core processor based on Bay Trail, 2GB of DDR3L memory, 32GB of eMMC storage flanked by a microSD card slot, 3-in-1 memory card reader, HDMI output, 10/100 LAN, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, three USB 2.0 ports, and Windows 8.1 with Bing (pre-installed).

Zotac PI320 Main

"Zotac is a major innovator when it comes to miniaturizing the traditional PC. We began our push towards smaller and smaller mini-PCs with the Zbox nano form factor and followed up with the Zbox nano XS," said Tony Wong, CEO, Zotac International. "Now with the all-new Zbox PI320 pico, we have created our smallest mini-PC that can fit in your pocket."

Zotac PI320 Monitor

While this is not a gaming PC, it's certainly powerful enough for productivity chores like Word and surfing the web. Attach one of these to the back of a 1080p monitor, add a wireless keyboard and mouse, and you have a makeshift all-in-one PC. It's also neat that it comes with Windows 8.1 with Bing pre-installed, which saves you the trouble of tracking down an external optical drive or installing via a USB thumb drive.
