NZXT Tempest EVO Camo Case Is Ready For Battle, Showcasing

The most memorable case of the past year? That honor definitely goes to the Level 10 chassis from Thermaltake. But considering the super high price point, it's not exactly a case that most average consumers can touch. It's also huge, so that's yet another reason to take it in from afar. But we have to admit: the latest enclosure from NZXT is pretty high up on the "weird, but in a good way" list. If you've been looking for a new case to fit in your outdoor bungalow or mountain cabin, this might just be the one.

The new Tempest EVO Camo is probably the most otherworldly case that we can recall seeing in awhile. It's half-camo, half-retro. We never really thought a camo case could be created with style or class, but somehow this company has managed to pull it off. It's obviously a special edition case that will only be produced in limited quantities, but you know, there's probably not a huge, vast market for something as off-the-wall as this.

It's built from plastic and steel, and its an ATX Mid-Tower case that ships without a power supply. It can handle E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and Baby AT motherboards, and it is equipped with three external 5.25" drive bays, 8 internal 3.5" drive bays, 7 expansion slots, a number of fans and a weight of just under 25lbs. It comes with a 1-year warranty (though we wouldn't count on it being valid if you really take it to the battlefield) and can be purchased today from Newegg at $149.99 (plus a whopping $18.99 in shipping).
