32GB Google Nexus 7 Rumored to Launch Soon

It probably goes without saying that one of the most-sought after products this holiday season will be Google's Nexus 7 tablet. Since its release this past July, the Nexus 7 has become a bit of a de facto tablet for those looking to get in on the tablet craze for an accessible price, or those looking for an extra tablet to keep around the house or in the car. Quite simply, a 7" tablet featuring a Tegra 3 quad-core processor - and not to mention Jelly Bean - for $200 (8GB), is hard to resist.

Well, it probably also goes without saying that one of the biggest complaints about the Nexus 7 has been its lack of internal storage space - and its lack of ability to expand. The oft-recommended solution nowadays is to use cloud storage, but that's not ideal for everyone, all the time. Instead, the ideal solution is for Google to either release beefier models or add the option for external storage. Given the pricing, however, we're unlikely to see that latter option happen with this generation.

For those yearning for more storage, however, you might want to take note of a rumor ignited by Fudzilla. It claims that Google has a 32GB model en route for £199.99 - yes, the same price as the current 16GB model in the UK. This means that the 16GB model would either drop in price or be superseded entirely, leaving only an 8GB and 32GB model for the plucking. If pricing does in fact become ~$199 USD for the 8GB model and ~$249 USD for the 32GB model, one certainly looks to be a better buy than the other.
