Saitek is a leading worldwide provider of PC games accessories, PC input devices, multimedia audio products, chess and intelligent games. In particular, Saitek enjoys a leadership position in flight simulation controllers and has established a strong position in keyboards for PC games. I've always thought Mad Catz product line was kinda 2nd rate as opposed to Saitek whose products seem to be a cut above... just my 2.

What?! How could that happen? It doesn't make sense that Mad Catz could afford that.

I'm completely with the above statement on this. I've never had good experiences with the construction quality of Mad Catz, whereas I have yet to see a Saitek product that was less than top notch in build.
