ZOTAC Reveals Passively Cooled ION-ITX Platforms

No room? No problem! ZOTAC has been pushing out small-form-factor PCs for years on end now, and with NVIDIA's next generation Ion platform ready to catch first, the company is eager and willing to introduce three new systems based around it: the ION-ITX platforms, R, S and T. All three are passively cooled, so all three will be amongst the quietest SFF platforms on the market.


They're built to fit inside the most tiny of cases, utilizing an Ion GPU with 512MB of DDR3 memory, Intel's 1.8GHz Atom D525, and various amounts of DDR2 memory based on the series. The R series has room for up to 4GB of RAM, one PCIe slot and 8 USB 2.0 ports, while the S series steps down to just 6 USB 2.0 ports but adds 2 USB 3.0 ports. The T series is the nicest of all, adding an onboard DC-DC power supply, dual-link DVI-I/HDMI outputs and Gigabit Ethernet, not to mention onboard 802.11n Wi-Fi and two SATA 3Gbps ports.

No pricing or release information is available, but we're guessing the new group will be on sale shortly.
