REDMOND, Wash. - April 8, 2008 - Today Microsoft Corp. announced plans to issue special edition versions of the Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 — the No. 1 best-selling notebook mouse in the U.S.1 — in five fashionable new colors. The new mice allow consumers to add a splash of color to their PC and eliminate the plain white mouse for good.

Taking cues from the design and color trends found in today’s apparel, accessories and other consumer electronics, the special editions of the Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 will be offered in the following colors:

Apparently they are trying to appeal to earth lovers and women......what kinda color selection is that??? Either that or they want buyers to put the mice in their mouth with all the "tasty" names that were come up with

I think the names of the colors are actually better than the colors themselves. Aloe green and milk chocolate? This is what happens when you follow trends, rather than set them. Is aloe green the new avocado green for the 21 century?

 Yeah, color me consfused about who they are trying to market these to.  I don't like any of them really, except maybe the red one.

If the target market was male, the color selection would more likely be:

midnight blue, gunmetal, jet black, hunter green, chrome, etc. lol
