Verizon Wireless Launches Novatel Wireless PC770

The new PC770 2-in-1 PC Card and Express Card is now available from Verizon Wireless and Novatel Wireless. The card gives users access to Verizon Wireless' Mobile Broadband service and fast access to email, corporate data, and the Internet.

The PC770 runs on Verizon Wireless’ high-speed EVDO Rev. A network. To help facilitate simultaneous high-speed uploads and downloads, the card uses NovaSpeed technology. For easy connection management and automatic installation, the PC770 comes with VZAccess Manager software.

Since the PC770 comes with an adapter that enables it to be used with either an ExpressCard or a PC peripheral interface slot, it is ideal for users who are making the transition from PC Cards to the newer ExpressCard format. The card is compatible with both PC and Mac notebook computers.

The PC770 is available today from www.verizonwireless.com, through business sales channels, and by calling 1-800-2 JOIN IN. The card will also be available from Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on August 2nd. The PC770 costs $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a two-year customer agreement.
