Valve's Final Portal 2 Teaser Video Caps Things Off...Nicely

Well, one thing is for sure. If Valve doesn't sell a ton of Portal 2 copies, they'll be in debt for advertising for quite some time. The company is really going all-out. There are entire city buses in places like Chicago where vinyl wraps for the game are covering public transportation, and the company has obviously spent a lot of time creating promotional videos to pump things up from a viral standpoint. We won't even pretend to think that we aren't playing right into Valve's hands here, but hey -- when you make promo videos that are this hilarious, who cares how many people see it?

In case you're still wondering, Portal 2 will go on sale at 7AM PST this coming Tuesday, April 19th, and pre-orders are open right now.

Man, Chell looks awesome trying to land on her head in a serious matter compared to the comedic stylings of this video.

Still, can not wait for this game to come out.

This game is probably one of the first puzzle, problem solving and thought provoking games that has a beautiful, deep storyline with it too! I love how its also all in the same "world" as some of Valve's other titles like the Half-Life series. Valve's got high expectations, but considering the lengths they were willing to go to make the trailers the way they want them (by not outsourcing it to design/media companies or independent contractors and making these themself), I think its fair to say they've put that much effort into the game its self as well.

Not to mention the release of a Portal 2 Comic to fill in any gaps bewtween portal 1 and 2 only increases the depth of the story!

Looks like Portal2 could not have been released at a better time and likely will get a lot of new folks interested in a unique experience .I can't wait.

I want portal but I think 49.99 is too much for it, if its as long as the first game. If it was 29.99 then I would be all over it.
