Hmmm... something to take the plasce of the now defunct Flip Video line. Not a bad price either for full HD at only $149.

It is also waterproof which could be a big bonus depending on what you wanted to do with it. It would also give you a plus in just generally being waterproof which would mean a device that was somewhat indestructible.

This is a cool little device for camping and hiking. When they say waterproof does that include saltwater? Or just freshwater. They say you can toss it into bags, I wonder what the drop range is for this thing. It would be great if you could drop it from 5ft or so as well as being water proof.

Kodak has the similar Playsport which offer underwater recording as well. So there are options for shopping around. I would consider getting such a device but the limited operating depth underwater needs to change, as well as my aversion to deep water (I have seen Jaws, etc. too many times).

That'd actually be fun to stick in my aquarium for the one kenyi chiclid, he's insane and attacks everything lol

Haha I am sure it probably would be fine in an aquarium :) I am sure the footage would be hilarious and that you could make some interesting videos.

a great knock around device that will likely hold up and be family friendly and easy to use with decent specs.the bright yellow color might be the ticket for some because it's easy to spot at a glance ..me I'll take the silver.
