In anticipation of what looks to be a hot device, Sprint has put up a pre-order page, but don't pull a muscle in your click finger sprinting over there. It's essentially a place holder page until May 7, which is when you'll be able to place your pre-order.
The HTC EVO 4G LTE is the follow-up to the HTC EVO 4G, but instead of WiMAX, it supports the sexier LTE standard. Hardware specs and features include a 4.7-inch 1280x720 HD IPS display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot), virtual QWERTY keyboard, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear-facing camera, 2000mAh battery, and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense piled on top.
Of course, the big upgrade is the addition of a 4G LTE radio, and interestingly enough, Sprint hasn't yet cut the ribbon on its 4G LTE network. However, it's coming
, starting with Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, and San Antonio by mid-2012.
