Samsung Rolls Out Series 5 Laptops with Ivy Bridge Inside

"The power and speed of Intel’s latest processors have enabled us to create even faster, more efficient laptops, and we’re excited to have begun integrating them into these new models and several of our existing designs as well."
Starting with the larger of the two models, the 15.6-inch Series 5 comes standard with an Intel Core i7 3610QM processor, 8GB of DDR3 memory, 750GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M graphics, 1.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and other odds and ends wrapped in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The system weighs 5.5 pounds, runs for 6 or more hours on a single charge, and costs $900 (MSRP).
As for the 14-inch Series 5 500, Samsung equipped it with a Core i5 3210M processor and 500GB hard drive. The rest of the hardware remain the same, and it also boasts the same display resolution (1366x768). MSRP is $800.
