ROCCAT Announcing the Lua Tri-Button Gaming Mouse Ahead of Computex

It would seem that there are only so many variations and improvements one can make on a three-button mouse, but ROCCAT is trying to reinvent the scroll wheel, as it were. The company is billing the Lua Tri-Button Gaming Mouse as “The Classic 3-Button Mouse: Re-Mastered”.

The Lua is equipped with Omron switches and the Pro Optic R2 sensor, seven DPI settings (250, 500, 1000, 1250, 1500, 1750, and 2000), and the ability to adjust the DPI settings incrementally or toggle between frequently-used settings on the fly. The scroll wheel is designed to provide optimal control and tactile feedback at each step for better accuracy.

One welcome feature is a v-shaped design that allows both righties and lefties to use the Lua without having to compromise or adjust, with No Sweat grips on the sides and low-friction PTFE feet.

The mouse comes with ROCCAT Driver software, which gives gamers an easy way to program and customize the mouse buttons. Look for the Lua to hit stores worldwide in July or August and carry a price tag of $29.99.
