OnLive Unleashes New Games and Features at E3
It looks like cloud gaming service OnLive was holding back on us, waiting for the E3 show to unleash some tasty new features and games.
New games coming to the service include Aliens: Colonial Marines, The Cave, Darksiders II, Hell Yeah!, Hitman: Absolution, Inversion, London 2012 – The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games, Metro: Last Light, Ravaged, Saints Row: The Third: Enter the Dominatrix, Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods & Kings, and South Park: The Stick of Truth.
But the games are just the tip of the iceberg. OnLive is also demoing games on Google TV-packing LG G2 Smart TVs. The TVs boast LG’s L9 dual-core processor and, with OnLive running directly on them, would obviate the need for a PC or console to play hundreds of titles. Gamers can buy games individually, or they can rely on OnLive’s subscription service, and all purchased games are playable on PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones (where broadband is available).
OnLive has also expanded the capabilities of its in-browser gaming: one-click gaming. Users can instantly play games on essentially any device with a Web browser, including phones. It sounds a little too good to be true, but the press release states the following:

OnLive’s new capabilities include social features such as MultiView, which turns gamers into spectators that can comment on other games and voice chat with other players, all while playing their own game. The money feature here, though, is the ability to collaborate with your friends on games you’re both playing.
