"I'm very interested in the VP2765-LED, $579 is a good price for a monitor of that size and caliber. AMVA, 178 viewing angles and 5m response time look great on paper, I'll wait to see the reviews, especially from Eric Franklin and here as well."

Viewsonic is a good brand. When they made CRT's they were considered to be one of the best for the home enthusiast. I have a 22" Viewsonic flat panel courtesy of's generosity, and it's got an excellent picture.

AMVA... Something I have not heard of before... In any case, I'm hoping that it produces very deep blacks.

I'm going to wait and see reviews before I decide whether or not this is a good monitor.
