More X2 6000+, The Asus P3N32-E SLI Plus, & BFG's 1KU PSU

There's a steady flow if news rolling in today. A trio of our compatriots have posted some reviews we thought you'd like to check out.  First up, the Tech Report has posted a review of AMD's brand new Athlon 64 X2 6000 . They tested the CPU with the 64-bit version of Vista, so if you'd like to see how it stacks up to the Core 2 Duo in a 64-bit environment, TR's got the scoop.

[H]Enthusiast has a review posted of the Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus. As its name implies, this mobo is based upon and NVIDIA nForce SLI chipset, but what makes it somewhat unique is that Asus bolted together the nForce 650i SLI chipset with the older 570 SLI SB to make a sort of hybrid board that supports true 32-lane SLI.  Turned out to be a decent overclocker too, once some early BIOS wrinkles were ironed out.

Finally, our friends at PCPerspective have just posted up a review of BFG Tech's System 1000 Power Supply. Performance was good for the most part, but they did find excessive AC ripple under heavy load.
