MSI Unveils 14.1" AMD-Powered VR430 Notebook

Another weekday, another MSI notebook. After detailing a new line of gaming and multimedia laptops at CeBIT this month, the company seems to be trickling out even more as the month of March marches on. Yesterday it was the bargain-minded VX600; today it's the stylish and nimble VR430.

MSI's latest (for now, anyway) notebook features a decorative ocean wave lid, the company's own ECO Engine for saving power whenever possible and a slim, sleek overall build. Sitting just between the realms of ultraportables and full size notebooks, the VR430 includes a 14.1" LCD with a 1280 x 800 resolution, a DVD drive, 1.3-megapixel camera (for video calling, video chatting, etc.), a 4-in-1 card reader and three "well distributed" (as opposed to what?) USB 2.0 sockets. The entire machine weighs 4.85 pounds, and the full size keyboard ensures that you won't be missing that Shift key due to any weird layout issues.

The entire list of specifications are below, but don't bother scanning for a price or release date. No dice on either, sadly.

Those specs are pretty sweet for a 'Stylish' laptop with an ECO Engine Big Smile
