Lenovo's Low-Cost IdeaPad A2107 7" Tablet Comes To AT&T

While the mainstream seems to be signaling that the iPad is the clear favorite in the tablet race, Android is making a slow and deliberate push into that market share. With the introduction of the low-cost, high-powered, well-built Nexus 7, Android tabs have become more than an obsession for the technically savvy. Now, players like Lenovo are starting to get in on the action as well, with the IdeaTab A2107 being added to AT&T's tablet lineup today. The tab was initially announced at IFA last year, but now it's making a U.S. debut on a major carrier for a tantalizing price point.

It's a 7" device that includes a dual-core Cortex A9 processor, Android 4.0, a 1024x600 resolution display, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, and FM radio. There's full access to Google Play, and for a limited time, customers will receive $100 off the Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 purchased online at www.att.com with a two-year data plan agreement. It's pretty tough to think about chaining yourself to that kind of data plan with a tablet that's already showing its age, but if you're looking for a low entry point in terms of price, this one's tough to beat at $199. Customers can add the Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 to a new or existing AT&T Mobile Share plan for $10 per month or choose one of AT&T's DataConnect plans.
