Intel, Yahoo! Announce Strategic Agreement
Delivering Content to Intel(R)Viiv™ technology-based PCs, TV Screens in the Home

CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW, LAS VEGAS – January 6, 2006 – Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO), a leading global Internet company, and Intel Corporation today announced a joint effort to deliver compelling digital entertainment services to consumers on media devices with Intel(R) Viiv™ technology. Yahoo! will create customized Intel Viiv technology verified services, including music, photos and personalized video content, for consumers to enjoy on their televisions, personal computers, laptops and handheld screens, both in the home and on the go.

In the coming months, Yahoo! plan to launch a customized version of Yahoo! Go TV, as well as Yahoo! Photos, Yahoo! Music and My Yahoo! Channel as Intel Viiv technology-verified applications. These new versions of Yahoo!'s leading services will be designed to be viewed on Intel Viiv technology-based PCs and other verified devices. In addition, the companies are cooperating to develop new technologies to make it easier for users to discover, access and enjoy content and services in the emerging digital home.

The companies expect to launch the Intel Viiv technology verified Yahoo! services in the coming months.

The Yahoo! Intel Viiv technology verified applications will allow consumers to access and enjoy their personalized Yahoo! services in the "10 foot" television screen environment. The Yahoo! Go TV application will make the television viewing experience more fun, useful and easy for consumers to navigate by combining it with the power and depth of the Internet. Consumers will be able to use the Yahoo! Photos application to access and watch slideshows of their saved photo albums, as well as access their friends' albums. In addition, the My Yahoo! Channel application will allow consumers to create their own channel of personalized content with video clips from more than 25 different television shows.
