I like the Dell UltraSharp screen, but I really don't like the price. $1,249.00 will buy an outrageous home built PC complete with a more modest screen as well.

But if you do buy one, once it's bought, and ~sitting so pretty~ in front of you, I can imagine it would seem to be well worth all of that cash.

"I like love it as well, too steep for me, but if you want to play you gotta pay. I had a Hands  eyes on experience with this monitor at a PC repair shop, and just wow, he had Metro 2033 running in full 2560x1600 resolution with max settings, looked absolutely gorgeous but kept stuttering. "

@Optimus

I am sure that game looked awesome at those settings :) though it sounds like the PC he had hooked up to it just could not take the heat. I agree with both of you though the price is too rich for my blood.

His video card wasn't up to the task of driving that game at that high of a screen resolution, most likely.

"I believe it was a MSI GTX 465 Golden Sample flashed to a GTX 470, yep, I remember the gold plate on it. Poor little beast.'

Yeah, not enough ~a*s*s~ for gaming at high settings on a screen that size

I never skimp on my monitor or case as those items remain in my build the longest.

I am still using my 2407WFP-HC I bought for what it's worth.

I agree you gotta pay to play and as I have said before Dell UltraSharp line makes the best monitors hands down.
