E3's "Booth Babes", The Three Amigos & More

Good afternoon folks!  I apologize if I come across a bit somber today.   All of our regulars probably know that I'm a huge boxing fan, and that I especially like Roy Jones, Jr.  Well, last night Antonio Tarver landed a wicked left hand in the second round of their rematch, right on Roy's chin, to hand him the first "real" loss of his carrer (he has 1 other loss on his record that came via disqualification).  I started following Roy's carrer about 16 years ago when he got robbed at the Seoul Olympics, and over years developed the opinion that he is one of boxing's all-time greatest and most athletically gifted fighters.  To see him lose like he did last night was rough.  I feel like one of my best freinds just got beat up, although I never met the man in person.  Oh well, I guess all good things have to come to an end...

 E3 2004 Booth Babes @ PimpRig:

"While at E3 meeting with various hardware reps I made sure to take a pic of every booth babe that crossed my path..."

Three Pentium 4 Amigos - Northwood, Gallatin and Prescott Compared @ TweakTown:

"Today we have each of the Intel Pentium 4 amigos under the spotlight. We compare Northwood (P4C), Gallatin (P4EE) and Prescott (P4E) against each other and discuss compatibility issues with P4E and which processor is your best choice."

The Desktop GPU Comparison Guide Updated! @ RojakPot:

"These days, there are so many graphics card models that it has become quite impossible to keep up with the different configurations. Therefore, we decided to compile this guide to provide an easy reference for those who are interested in comparing the specifications of the various desktop GPUs in the market as well as those already obsolescent or obsolete."

Modification of the Radeon X800 Pro not possible @ CoolTechZone:

"Graphic card enthusiasts are looking forward to make the RADEON X800 XT with 16 pipes out of RADEON X800 PRO with 12 pipes. The New ATI RADEON X800 PRO and ATI RADEON X800 XT graphics cards are based on the same R420 chip, but with different number of pixel pipelines enabled. The RADEON X800 PRO features 12 pixel pipelines with 6 geometry pipelines and is clocked at 475MHz. The RADEON X800 XT features 16 pixel pipelines with 6 geometry pipelines and is clocked at 520MHz."

SiS the first one to market PCI Express @ CoolTechZone:

"Silicon Integrated Systems believes that its main board partners will start commercial production of their products featuring PCI Express slots and SiS core-logic next month, much before the competition. SiS has announced SiS965 and SiS965L I/O controllers with support for PCI Express x1 lanes. It is not clear whether add-in PCI Express x1 cards will be available in June 2004, but leading developers of graphics cards are expected to supply their new PEG x16 offerings in June. The company has not introduced its North Bridges with support for PCI Express x16 for graphics cards bus."

 Thermaltake POLO12 - 410 watt Silent PurePower Supply reviewed @ Hi-TechReviews.com:

"Start off with a 3 in 1 CPU cooler application for P4,K7 and K8 processors then add in two choices of fan controllers, plus a nice 120mm variable speed fan for good measures and last but not least finish it off with a hefty 410 watt power supply which also happens to be cooled by a 120mm blue LED fan and what do you have? You have the new POLO12 - 410 Watt Power Supply from Thermaltake."

That's going to have to due for now!  Be cool brothers and sisters!
