Dell Venue Unlocked Android Smartphone Review

Just a few years ago, virtually no one thought Dell would venture into the smartphone business. With the exception of a few stand-outs, Dell has always been fairly conservative with their products and had never really strayed too far from the PC and its associated peripherals and accessories, although they did make a few slick PDAs back in their heyday. Dell's been mobile for years, however, and the Adamo XPS showed that the company's design squad is certainly capable of producing some world-class, ultra-mobile hardware. But Dell smartphone? As strange as it may have sounded just a few years ago, the company has launched a full-on assault into the handset market, and not a minute too soon.

I personally love my Evo 4G but you have to hand it to Dell for making a very good looking phone. They should have some experience with these types of things considering their PDA's were some of the best available.

Great review, is there a silver dollar version of the review? It's a really attractive phone, hats off to dell. Looks like good performance and features too. I haven't really looked at it until I read/watched this review. Nice music in the vid! Sounds like I just walked into a western bar in an 80's sitcom.

The smart phone field develops so fast it is incredible. We know we have several dual core w/separate GPU units coming now. I also know we have quad core goodness coming before the end of the year. So this field is exploding!
