Asus sure is firing on all cylinders of late, producing one of the largest gaming notebooks we've ever seen, one of the longest-lasting netbooks we've ever used and now, one of the most business-minded intermediate machines that we've ever come across. Regardless of your needs, it seems Asus is making a machine for you.
Described as an everyday business companion designed for professionals who desire portability, dependability, data security and long battery life, the P30A hums along at 1.4GHz courtesy of the Core 2 Duo SU9400 processor within and comes with Windows Vista, two DDR2-800 SO-DIMM memory slots, a 13.3" widescreen (1366x768) LED display, a single SATA 2.5" HDD (250GB or 320GB options), an ultra slim DVD burner, 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and gigabit Ethernet. Heck, Asus even offers this up with an optional WiMAX module if you happen to be covered. Asus hasn't bothered sharing a price or release date, but you can bank on seeing an AI Pre-boot Finger Logon which enables users to authorize the system to boot up by scanning their fingers via the in-built fingerprint scanner.
