AnalogicTech Announces New 2MHz Step-Up DC/DC Converter Optimized for OLED Applications
Advanced Architecture Combines Fast Transient Response, High Stability, and Low Leakage Current
SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Advanced Analogic Technologies Incorporated (AnalogicTech) (Nasdaq: AATI), a developer of power management semiconductors for mobile consumer electronic devices, today announced the AAT1230, a new 2MHz, 18V, 100mA step-up converter optimized for powering both Organic LED (OLEDs) and general purpose LCD and CCD modules in portable systems. Using an advanced architecture developed by AnalogicTech, the AAT1230 delivers fast transient response, high stability, and excellent load isolation while dramatically reducing system footprint.
"As portable system designers move to OLEDs to take advantage of their thin form factor, lower power requirements, and wider viewing angle, they will need step-up converters with fast transient response and 'zero' leakage when not active to preserve battery life," said Kin Shum, Product Line Director for AnalogicTech. "By offering hysteretic control and high stability while minimizing leakage current losses, the AAT1230 is the ideal application-specific power solution for OLED modules." READ MORE...
