AT&T To Offer LG's Power-Packed 4.7" Optimus G Android Smartphone

Samsung and HTC have been knocking it out of the park when it comes to Android-based flagships, but what about LG? It's getting a bit of help this week with the support of AT&T, which has just announced that the high-end LG Optimus G will be coming to its airwaves soon. The 8.45mm phone boasts a 4G LTE radio, a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, and plenty of LG software. There's QSlide, QuickMemo and Dual Screen Dual Play, for starters. The first allows you to text or browse the web all without navigating away from the video you are watching, while the second allows users to write, draw, or jot a memo directly on any captured screen for sharing instantly with others as an attachment or a URL.  Dual Screen Dual Play shares content with other electronic devices, such as televisions and computers, freeing up the on-device display for other activities, like browsing the web.

Other specs include a 1.5GHz chip, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 2100 mAh Li-Polymer battery, an 8MP camera, and a 4.7" True HD IPS Plus display. Sadly, there's no pricing or specific release information, but you can bet it'll hit prior to the holidays.
