ABIT OC's Presler Core to 5.8GHz
We received an email notifying us that ABIT has managed to overclock an Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 965 from its stock 3.73GHz speed to an impressive 5.8GHz. Using an ABIT AW8D-MAX motherboard and 1GB of Corsair DDR2 memory, a blistering 242MHz FSB was achieved. Unfortunately, we have no clue what sort of cooling methods were used though speeds like this typically result from exotic cooling such a phase-change units like the VapoChill.
