Thanks for another great and insightful Podcast .Really got me in the mood to follow along with the opening discussion of IDs game engine along with some time to recall some of those periods of 'attitude adjustment ' experienced while playing  Doom 3.

Yeah it does seem kinda disappointing with HP and and what the options maybe for us end-users with PC & laptops and the US econmoy if China buys a boatload of that division from HP.Guess Best buys has some of the HP TouchPad anchor to bear,

anyhow gotta mention you guys keep the tone and pace enjoyable to watch & moving along with the more seriouse stuff .Still like the way i am assured that you guys will keep us in the know with the SB-E thermals and cooling recommends when that time arrives.

I am with you iyaz ...with some of the stories it sometimes easier to understand with video discussion. >>> thanks :)

Very true Eunoia, when I worked for HP as a tech support agent we were always pressed to sell ink, and more ink, always ink. Selling printers was the last on the list lol

I agree with marco, how many custom builders use stock coolers? And ya with that high end, i wouldn't trust a stock cooler, i wouldn't even trust it with a low end. :P

"I like this episode. Marco , I agree about that its better in fact, for Intel not to ship their upcoming SB-E chips with a cooler. I commented on that article that it be kind of stupid for them not too, but really, if I make hefty investment towards a super high end  chip like that, I just don't trust an air cooler, I would invest in a high end close loop solution anyways. What I totally dont agree with the original source, is the the TDP ,I know its beefier than the current 990x, but Its a smaller die process, and same core count. I think TDP will stay at either 130 or as low as 120. 180 is just too outrageous."

"Chaintech Reloaded 2003" Did I just uncover an Easter Egg. Surprised that the shirt has lasted eight years and two episodes of 2HG.  I just Googled it , and Zenith Motherboards pop up in various site, Zenith made motherboards? "

Great stuff Dave and Marco, I am glad Dave liked the Alienware case as I have always thought they looked unique and stylish.

Also I agree with Marco on the Sandy Bridge heatsink. I seriously doubt there is any heat issues this is more of a unwanted  measure as Marco stated. It makes no since to buy a performance CPU to use a stock heatsink.

Very nice broadcast with lots of information and speculation :)

I have to agree with most of the points that were made on HP and the Sandy Bridge E.

What do you think is going to happen when consumer devices such as tablets become more commonplace in a corporate/education environment? Is HP making a mistake in potentially putting themselves out of this market.

It sounds like you guys are working those OEMs pretty good... and putting together another HOT rig.

@ Iyaz @25:02

"Your wish came true ,Thats right folks, starting in Canada, HP TouchPads for $99, get em fast! I wonder how long will it take for them to be sold out, cant wait till Best Buy fixes the price here. I'm getting at least two or three. Its unfortunate for HP, but at least people with very low income will be able to have , what is now a tech wonder, a Tablet  "

"Dave , Marco, How many you guys getting? I know Iyaz is buying one for each room, wow."
