NZXT is taking its Tempest Chassis series to a new level with the announcement of the 410 and 410 Elite. Like their predecessors, these new chassis promise aggressive airflow to meet the needs of overclockers. There are two touch powered 120mm fans in the front of the case that feature removable filters. The cases also offer an extra-large honeycomb mesh design and dual radiator support. With the Tempest 410 Elite you’ll get an acrylic side panel and other new features.

NZXT Expands Tempest Legacy with 410 and 410 Elite Mid Tower Chassis

The ‘Airflow King’ reemerges with advanced airflow, touch powered fans, and USB 3.0

El Monte, CA – August 18, 2011 – NZXT, a company built on realizing the dreams of gamers worldwide, is proud to announce the Tempest 410 and Tempest 410 Elite enthusiast cases. In the tradition of the Tempest series, Tempest 410 delivers the aggressive airflow required to meet the most demanding enthusiast’s overclocking needs.  Dual touch powered 120mm front fans equipped with removable filters highlight the Tempest 410 feature set. The touch powered fan compartments are wireless so it helps save a lot of time when removing the fans.

Cooling innovation is further advanced by extra-large honeycomb mesh design and dual radiator support for all-in-one liquid cooling solutions.  The Tempest 410 Elite version ups the ante with additional innovative features including an acrylic side panel for interior viewing of CPU and components.

“The original Tempest was the chassis that really put NZXT on the map for specializing in aggressive airflow” said Johnny Hou, Founder and Chief Designer at NZXT.  “The 410 and 410 Elite take the series to an entirely new level with superior features like innovative touch powered fans.  This is truly an overclocker’s dream chassis.”

The Tempest 410 and Tempest 410 Elite are available for $79.99 and $89.99 respectively.  For more information visit www.nzxt.com/new/products/crafted_series/tempest_410 and www.nzxt.com/new/products/crafted_series/tempest_410_elite

That is a pretty sexy case for $89.99 but so is the corsair 400r for $99.99. For some reason I really like the cord groove provided for the top tray, seems like a useful thing. Also room for the dual radiator is nice in a mid tower. Great to see manufacturers including the all black interior on the cheaper cases too, not having it is a deal breaker for me on other cases. So the touch fans are just wire free? Like the level 10 side panel fan??? Why is that a big deal for the front fans.

hey now  these are some pretty cool chassis . Kinda like the the honeycomb and aggressive air-cooling potential with these cases. Personally like the Elite version just a bit better. loads of upper end features included with future upgrading..Liquid cooling ? got it covered.with these guys. Pretty nice attention to some filters as well..

a real nice touch is the 23 mm clearance for some cable management.& at these prices! a whole lot to like.

Pretty sweeet so far !Yes

Thanks for that vid @Optimus. It's a cool idea, maybe other cases will start to pick up on it. I like how she said the filter comes out "easily" and she struggled haha. Also notice how when she placed the fan back into the case it didn't connect properly until she pushed on it, I wonder if that will be an issue in production models.

@Drake

"LOL, I think its actually easy for the filter to come out, she was very nervous from the beginning, I think it was her first time ever showcasing a product in front of a camera.'

It's a nice looking case. Not sure if I like the fan contacts idea yet. I'll wait to hear what actual owners say about it over time.

It's got many features and I like that the inside of the case has a decent paint job.

Pretty neat, having the Drive bays and wire free fans not get in the way there, and easy access.
