Samsung's unspoken philosophy of "Go big or go home" has never been more evident than with the Galaxy Tab Q that just broke cover on the company's Chinese language portal. Officially, Samsung is calling this thing a tablet, and with a 7-inch high-definition 720p (1280x720) display, we wouldn't argue the claim. However, you can slide the Galaxy Tab Q next to your face and make phone calls with it, which throws it into phablet waters.
Think of it as a bigger version of the Galaxy Note 3. Alternately, imagine putting Google's Nexus tablet next to your noggin and making phone calls and you'll get a sense of what the Galaxy Tab Q is all about. It's for people who simply can't find a big enough smartphone.
