MOGA’s Hero Power And Pro Power Android Game Controllers Charge Your Devices While You Play

MOGA’s product line offers a simple but very cool approach to mobile gaming, which is to provide nicely-sized controllers for gaming on Android (and with its second generation of controllers, Windows 8) devices.

The company has a pair of new controllers coming out, the MOGA Hero Power and MOGA Pro Power, that will actually charge your smartphone or tablet while you play, thus significantly boosting the amount of time you can spend gaming away without worrying that your battery life will be toast.

MOGA says that both the slimmer Hero Power ($59.99) and more full-size Pro Power ($79.99) were designed with better ergonomics, improved Bluetooth radios, and its S.M.R.T. Lock technology to more effectively secure devices to the controllers.

Both devices have dual clickable analog sticks; D-Pads; A, B, X, and Y buttons; L1/R1 and L2/R2 shoulder buttons; rechargeable batteries; LED battery life indicators; two charging cables; and support for Android 2.3 and higher. The larger Pro Power also has a tablet stand for those larger devices.

The controllers will be widely available beginning this month.
