In Win's Glass-and-Aluminum 'tou' Concept Chassis is Gorgeous (Just Don't Touch It)

Well, In Win’s gone and done it: They’ve created the most beautiful computer case ever. The “tou” concept case is on display at Computex, and to say that the glass-and-aluminum chassis is eye-catching would be an understatement.

“tou” apparently means “transparent” in Mandarin, which is fitting, because the case’s 3mm tempered glass panels, which are mounted on an aluminum structure, are translucent--even moreso if the LEDs inside are lit up to partially reveal the components. Without the lights, the glass panels offer a mirror-like reflection.

The tou is an full-tower case supporting ATX and mATX motherboards, and it features a single 5.25-inch external drive bay and three 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays. There are seven expansion slots with 380mm of clearance for a graphics card, and the front panel houses two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio jacks. There are three top-mounted 120mm fans as well as a 120mm front fan, and the tou also supports a 240-360mm radiator for a liquid cooling system.

This is still a concept design, so there’s no price tag, but the tou will likely fall in step with In Win’s other recent edgy case designs, the D-Frame and H-Frame (which we've reviewed in detail).

Of course, you’ll only be able to touch the thing with special gloves, as the mirrored panels look like they’ll show every iota of grease that comes its way. (No Doritos-fueled gaming sessions allowed near this chassis; good heavens, think of the smudges!)
