Cooler Master Unveils Monstrous V8 GTS Cooler, Capable Of Dissipating 250 Watts
Although liquid coolers are hot items for builders and modders, a great air CPU cooler is something to behold. Cooler Master announced a doozy of a cooler, which the company says was inspired by muscle cars and can dissipate thermal loads up to 250W.
The V8 GTS boasts a wild design that seems like a sort of ball within an space armor exoskeleton, and it has slick-looking red LED lighting. The device uses Horizontal Vapor Chamber (HVC) technology, triple-tower heatsinks, and eight high-performance heatpipes to accomplish this feat, along with dual 140mm fans that feature POM bearings that purport to be dustproof and last for over 160,000 hours. The fan speed can be adjusted to accommodate noise and performance.
The Cooler Master V8 GTS supports Intel sockets 2011/1366/1156/1155/1150/775 as well as AMD FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2. It will be available in August for $99.99.
