Samsung's Swanky Gear S2 Tizen Smartwatch Already Rocking $150 Price Cut

Samsung has a few different smartwatches up for grabs, including its latest offering in the wearables category, the Gear S2. It's a sleek and round successor to the comparatively garish Gear S, and since we've entered the season of deals, you can already find it marked down for sale all over the web. The cheapest sale price is just $200.

Buydig, an authorized dealer in the United States (which means the warranty is intact), is the one selling it at that price. The deal is through its eBay channel, not its retail website where it's listed for $50 more at $250. That same deal can be had at Amazon too, by the way right now.

Samsung Gear S2

The Gear S2 runs on Samsung's home grown Tizen platform powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. It also has 4GB of internal memory, a 1.2-inch touch Super AMOLED display with a 360x360 resolution (302 pixels per inch), 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC support.

As with most smartwatches, part of the emphasis is on health. The Gear S2 comes with Samsung's fitness diet tracking software called S Health, along with Nike+ Running, an app that tracks your runs and helps you reach fitness goals. The watch is also dust and water resistant.

If you're interested in the Gear S2 at this price, act fast. At the time of this writing, Buydig's auction page is getting over 3,400 views per hour with nearly 900 units sold.
