Samsung’s Batman-Themed Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition Comes With Gear VR And Gold-Plated Batarang

We're coming up to the three year anniversary of the mobile game Injustice: Gods Among Us, and to celebrate the occasion Samsung has teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive and DC Entertainment to deliver a Batman themed version of its Galaxy S7 Edge. If you're a Batman fan, grab a rag and get ready to wipe up the drool.

The Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition pairs one of the best (if not the best) smartphones on the planet with one of the most iconic comic book characters. If you're a Batman fan in need of a new handset, then 'nuff said, though there's more awesomesauce in this delectable pairing, including a bigger capacity battery for longer game play.


Samsung also teases "enhanced hardware and software capability," though along with the more capacious battery, it stops short of offering up fine grain details. As for the handset itself, it sports a sleek deep black finish with gold detailing around parts such as the home button and camera, and Batman's logo slapped on the backside.

To make good on the claim of providing the best mobile gaming experience, Samsung's throwing in a Gear VR headset in select territories, along with Injustice game credit and Oculus VR content vouchers. And if all that weren't enough, the packaging is pretty rad too, complete with a Batarang keepsake. Well done, Samsung.

The limited edition bundle will ship in early June to China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America, and Russia. Other territories (which hopefully include the U.S.) will follow soon after.
