We think NVIDIA's G-SYNC technology holds a lot of promise for gamers, though availability is a bit scarce at the moment, with just a few panels supporting the feature. Go ahead and add AOC's G24060PG 24-inch gaming monitor to the mix. AOC's newest display implements G-SYNC technology, which works with supported GeForce GPUs to synchronize the display refresh rate. Why does it matter? Taking advantage of G-SYNC technology essentially eliminates screen tearing and minimizes display stutter and input lag. And what all that translates into is a smoother gaming experience with less ghosting and other... Read more...
AOC’s new 24-inch monitor looks nice enough at first blush, with a relatively thin silver bezel and what is no doubt a crisp, bright image, but underneath is where the good stuff is located. The company built a pair of 7W Onkyo speakers into the base. AOC is billing this display (the i2473Pwm) as “ideal entertainment hub” because of it. The 24-inch LED-backlit IPS monitor also features full HD resolution as well as one VGA and two HDMI inputs. It offers 5ms response time, the ability to tilt -5 degrees to 20 degrees, and it comes with a 75x75mm VESA mount. But obviously, the company... Read more...
Ask any person who owns a dual-monitor setup and they'll all tell you they couldn't fathom going back to a single display. Maybe you're one of those people, and if so, you know exactly the feeling we're talking about. But what if you could enjoy all the benefits of a dual-monitor configuration from a single monitor? Would you be game to reclaiming some desk space by trading in two panels for a single display? AOC aims to answer that question with its new 29-inch Q2963PM display. Armed with an UltraWide In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, this LED-backlit monitor boasts a 2560x1080 resolution with 21:9... Read more...

There hasn't been a whole of innovation in recent years when it comes to large screen monitors in the neighborhood of 30 inches. That's about to change. For one, 4K Ultra HD resolution is attempting to gain a foothold in the mainstream market, though it will still be some time before we see a deluge of affordable 4K monitors. Secondly, UltraWide displays are making a bid for the desktop, and if you're on the fence about whether or not to get one, AOC hopes to give you a push by temporarily dropping the price of its Cinematic 29-inch UltraWide Q2963PM monitor. From now through June 30, AOC's UltraWide... Read more...
Here's a friendly reminder that today is the last day to file your individual tax returns (Form 1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ) unless you're requesting an extension, in which case you still have six more months. Either way, if you're looking to splurge on a display with your anticipated tax refund, AOC hopes you'll be tempted by its new Q2963PM monitor with an UltraWide panel. The Q2963PM is a 29-inch display with a 2650x1080 resolution (21:9 aspect ratio). Why would you want such a super widescreen monitor? The idea is to offer dual-monitor productivity from a single display, which it achieves with multiple... Read more...
Bezel? We don’t need no stinking bezel. AOC has a new monitor, the 23-inch i2367fh, and the unit’s facade is almost 100% screen; technically there is a bezel, but it’s just 2mm thick. In general, the monitor is a bit of a looker, with a brushed metal finish on the lower front part and rear of the unit and a slim brushed metal stand to complement the edge-to-edge look of the screen, and the display itself is a svelte 12mm thick. The IPS display features 1920x1080 full HD resolution, a 50,000,000:1 contrast ratio (which is substantially better than AOC's recently-released e2752Vh),... Read more...

AOC expanded its monitor lineup with the addition of a new 23-inch flicker-free 3D monitor known as the e2352Phz. A USB-powered monitor? Yeah, we've seen that. But by and large, these things have been 10" or smaller, mostly meant for travelers who just wanted a quick and dirty way to bust out a second monitor once they arrived at their temporary desk. But AOC has another thing in mind with their 22" USB monitor. The e2251Fwu maintains the same functionality we're used to with USB monitors, but at a far greater size. There's a built-in USB port, 1080p screen resolution and the ability to have it both powered and receive signal from a single USB connection. We highly doubt you'll be cramming this in your carry-on,... Read more...
