It’s happening! After months of leaks, speculation, and encouraging words from game publishers, the Nintendo NX will make its global debut tomorrow. Thursday morning at 10 AM EST, Nintendo will release a preview trailer that will give us just a glimpse at what gamers will have look forward to when the console hits store shelves in March.

We already know that the Nintendo NX will be a hybrid console, as that revelation was confirmed by Pokémon Company head Tsunekazu Ishihara. “The NX is trying to change the concept of what it means to be a home console device or a handheld device,” said Ishihara. “We will make games for the NX.”

It is said that the NX will have detachable motion controllers and will be able to hook up to your big screen TV via a docking station. It’s also reported that the console will feature NVIDIA Tegra power, although it’s unlikely that we’ll get any wide-ranging information on what’s powering the Nintendo NX tomorrow. Those details might be reserved until closer to launch.

The Nintendo NX is rumored to have performance that would put it somewhere between a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in performance, so don’t expect to see games that look as good as current generation consoles (let alone compare to what high-end PCs are capable of delivering).

Well, that’s all for now; check back in tomorrow morning to see what Nintendo has been working on since it pushed the Wii U out the door.
