Samsung Ships Limited White Model Of Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 In Student Bundle

Shopping for a back-to-school tablet? Samsung's got you covered. The Galaxy Tab creator now has a newcomer ready for the fall semester, with the Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition Bundle making its debut for $250. The special package will be available starting 8/19 and will only hang around for two weeks. For those who get in, you'll grab a Tab 2 7.0 in a limited white color, as well as a keyboard dock and a USB adapter. All told, it's a $350 bundle selling for $249.99. Students should be able to take advantage of the keyboard for taking notes in lectures, and the USB adapter supports things like thumb drives and USB mice. The bundle will be available while supplies last, from 8/19 through 9/1. Participating retailers include Best Buy, Amazon, Tiger Direct, Costco and Fry's. As for specs on the tablet? There's a 7" touchpanel (1024x600), Android 4.0, 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a built-in camera, GPS, stereo speakers and 1080p video playback. And so far, this one has managed to avoid the wrath of Apple's lawyers.
