HKEPC has posted some interesting news regarding AMD's mobile roadmap and their transition to new sockets. Here, we find some details regarding plans for Socket S1 and Socket AM2 products that should begin appearing the latter part of this year. One thing is certain here, once AMD releases these new processors Intel will certainly have some competition on the mobile front. Now if only we could get every notebook vendor to offer an AMD-based system.
